This site collects personal data at four points, and only there.

• —Quote and bespoke project form: company, contact person, role, email, phone, quantity, delivery timing, particular requirements and — if you choose to indicate it — an indicative budget.
• —Printed catalogue request: company, contact person, shipping address, email, phone.
• —Taccuino subscription: email address and subscription date.
• —Conversations with the assistant: the messages you write and the page you write them from.

• —Responding to a quote or bespoke project request: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• —Shipping the printed catalogue: performance of your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• —Sending the Taccuino: your consent, revocable at any time via the unsubscribe link present in every issue (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
• —Operating the assistant and improving its answers: legitimate interest in providing commercial assistance and keeping the service secure (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• —Tax obligations and legal defence, when the request becomes a commercial relationship: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.c and 6.1.f GDPR).

Retention periods vary according to purpose.

• —Quote requests with no follow-up: 24 months from the last contact.
• —Requests that become an order: 10 years, for accounting and tax obligations.
• —Printed catalogue request: 12 months from shipping.
• —Taccuino subscription: until consent is withdrawn, and for 12 months after withdrawal solely to demonstrate that the withdrawal was honoured.
• —Conversations with the assistant: 12 months, then deletion. If the conversation flows into a quote request, it follows the retention period of that purpose.

We do not sell or transfer data. It is processed on our behalf, as data processors appointed under Art. 28 GDPR, by:

• —the hosting and infrastructure provider that hosts the site;
• —the email and Taccuino delivery service;
• —the provider of the artificial intelligence model that generates the assistant's answers;
• —accounting and tax advisors, for requests that become orders.

The updated and complete list of processors, with their names, is available on request by writing to commerciale@regalgift.it.

Some technology providers, in particular the artificial intelligence model provider, may process data also outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46.2.c GDPR), supplemented — where applicable — by the adequacy decision relating to the destination country. A copy of the safeguards is available on request.

The REGAL assistant is an artificial-intelligence-based system. In compliance with Art. 50 of EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act), we clearly inform you that you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not with a person. Answers are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies.

The chat helps you find your way around the catalogue. The messages exchanged, the time and the page it started from are retained; the conversation also remains in your browser's local storage, where you can delete it at any time with the "Start again" command. On our side we retain it for 12 months.

Messages are sent to the model provider to generate the response and are not used to train models.

We ask you not to enter in the chat any personal data of third parties (names and addresses of gift recipients are communicated in the quote form) nor health information, including intolerances or allergies of identifiable people: for those details please write to us directly.

• —access to the data concerning you and a copy of it;
• —rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data;
• —erasure, when we have no obligation to retain it;
• —restriction of processing and objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
• —portability of the data you have provided us;
• —withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Requests are sent to commerciale@regalgift.it: we reply within one month.

If you believe that the processing does not comply with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, garante@gpdp.it) or take the matter to a court.
