Pairings

Half the recipients don't drink. So what?

Building alcohol-free selections that don't feel like selections missing something. It can be done, but the structure has to change.

Removing isn't enough

If you take a selection with two bottles and remove the bottles, what's left is a half-empty selection. The alcohol-free version has to be built, not subtracted.

A selection without wine shouldn't feel like a selection missing something.

What takes the place of the wine

  • an aged balsamic vinegar
  • a preserve for cheese
  • a single-flower honey
  • a vintage extra-virgin olive oil

Products that carry the same narrative weight and the same footprint in the selection.

The detail that counts

Signalling the choice without displaying it. No "alcohol-free" label: simply a selection that stands on its own.

How we manage it

On a mixed list, we keep two variants of the same selection and assign them recipient by recipient.

Let's compose it together, starting from here.
